Marketing Ideas For Small Business

In a competitive environment, you would usually need standout marketing ideas for small business to get noticed. A small business might get lost in the wave of other entrepreneurs and companies offering the same products and services. Big corporations have big marketing budgets, and these can afford to place advertisements in mass media like TV, radio and newspapers. A small business would usually have to resort to below the line advertising, which means marketing without necessarily having to spend a lot of money. Here are a few ways a small business can market its goods and services successfully.

Focus on a Niche

For small business, the name of the game is being able to market yourself properly to your intended audience, and in most cases, these would be a niche market, or a small, targeted sector of society. While it would be nice to appeal to everyone, small business marketing is simply best done when you consider niches. These are specialized markets.

Establish an Ideal

Standards may be quite varied. Some people may be looking at the quality of products or services while some will be more into the actual price and cost of the services being rendered. Then there are people who would rather support a company that maintains certain ideals, such as being “green,” which is a popular given today’s changing climate. There are so many approaches to things, but the main thing is to have one that works for your company and captures the imagination of your target market.

Innovate

A small company has an advantage over big corporations in flexibility. Therefore you should always think of ways to innovate. Consumers like the notion of having new, interesting ways of doing things. This might seem like a risk at first, but eventually, if the resulting product is good, then it might be a good idea in the long run. You can introduce small changes or big changes, but the important thing is that customers notice that you are trying to think of better ways to service their needs.

Word of Mouth

True to the thrust of web 2.0 and the rest of Obama Mania that swept America back in early 2009, the name of game is slowly turning into “connectivity.” It’s no longer a one way street between the consumers and the producers of goods. Thanks to forums, blogs, social networks and other Internet-based applications, the people behind the services can now know what their clients and customer think almost instantaneously! You can surf the web for product reviews, and in most cases you can even send a reply or response right there and then. This helps build up your image as a company that cares and listens. A small business might not be able to buy ad spots on primetime, but if you can get people to recommend your product or service to their friends, then this would build up the trust factor, because people will more often than not buy something from a company that they trust, rather than one that is simply visible and popular due to advertisements.
When running a small business, you tend to find creative ways to run your business and to bring your business to your target clientele. The difference here is you are forced to adapt to the environment and to work with a limited budget.

Seven Nepali Movies Which Carbon Copied Movie Posters

Wikipedia says Plagiarism is defined as the “wrongful appropriation,” “close imitation,” or “purloining and publication” of another author’s “language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions”. Really Internet globalization can be seen everywhere, we always hear Nepali movies scripts , music and stories  being copied from popular Bollywood movies or sometimes even from Hollywood or Korean Movies. Incidentally, its not just the story which is being copied these days, but even the movie posters are being copied. Its clear indication of lack of creativity,.. what a time and money saving idea.. take others creation use some Photoshop magic and product is ready to sell in market.

Even very successful movie Loot is in the list . It has almost be widely appreciated among critics, as director Nischal Basnet being very honest about mistakes and flaws. Basnet seems to correct them for sure, but it is shocking for him to know some unsual mistakes like Paying BIG for some stuffs.Title animation is now known to all which was a ready made template from Video Co-Pilot. But very few people know about is the poster.
What do you think about this poster? Though designer says… copy होईन रे !

Nepali posters has been one of the most talked subject within the industry. Rekha Thapa, Bhuvan KC are much famous for coping posters for their movies. Yet it is not much different with the so-called New Makers. I won’t call it a copy, but YES, another inspired Nepali movie poster.
Note: The funniest part is, it’s designer says, he had never seen DevD poster until he posted this poster on the web. WTF?

Its government which is still the same but we Nepalese Youths are superhuman, do better we will support you do worse we will f**k you. The list is of plagiarism is long, I’ll keep updating as I have no doubt Nepali Movie Industry would keep copying from Hollywood (If you know any copied Kollywood movie that I have missed, mention in a comment and I’ll add it after verifying) but the fact remains that they won’t stop unless the people demand originality in the media andboycott plagiarized stuff. Exes Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will probably be in Sooraj Barjatya's new film

Too many things are going on in Salman Khan’s life… the Black Buck case, his name coming up in the late Jiah Khan’s case and now we hear he’ll be working with ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif again! This will be in none other than Sooraj Barjatya’s long waited film 'Bade Bhaiya'. The film will finally see the light… All thanks to producer Boney Kapoor.

Boney Kapoor has now handed over Salman’s dates (that were blocked with him) to Sooraj Barjatiya. Apparently, last week, while Boney Kapoor was in Europe, he received a text from Salman requesting him to let go of these dates that he had reserved for filming the sequel 'No Entry Again', so that Sooraj could accommodate his film. Sadly, the last time one saw a Sooraj Barjatya film was eight years ago – 'Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon'. And now buzz is that Salman took a keen interest in reviving his mentor Sooraj Barjatya’s sunken career.

And that was it. Boney immediately agreed to Salman’s request. “Sooraj Barjatya has not directed a film for eight years. Boney feels it is only right that Sooraj makes a comeback with Salman,” said a source. When contacted Boney Kapoor said: “Yes, I've postponed my film on Salman's request.”

Aditya Pacholi and Zarina Wahab's ordeal of watching son Suraj in jail finally ends

Aditya Pacholi and his wife Zarina Wahab's 20-day ordeal of watching their only son Suraj imprisoned for allegedly abetting Jiah Khan's suicide, has ended. The parents thanked the judiciary and God after tge decision was made.

Suraj, who was arrested on 10 June, was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on 1 July. He has been ordered to pay a surety of Rs.50,000, surrender his passport and report to police whenever required for investigations.

Aditya said: "It's finally happened. My boy is coming out. I am just so grateful to the honourable judge for being fair to us. We had begun to lose hope."

Zarina, who has been going through an agonising wait for her son's return, said: "We knew Suraj would be out because he has done no wrong. We just didn't know why it was taking so long. My son has gone through so much. We've suffered outside. But we can't begin to imagine what he must have gone through."

She added, "The honourable judge has been so fair, so just in her pronouncements. Aditya and I had begun to despair. We have finally found our hope and faith again. Right now we're only waiting for him to come home, eat 'ghar ka khana' and sleep in his own bed. Nothing else matters.

Zarina also had nothing but kind words for Jiah, who committed suicide on 3 June. "Her soul must have finally rested in peace. Jiah loved my son. She couldn't have been happy with what was happening to Suraj. It is ironical that Jiah's mother says she wanted Suraj in jail because of Jiah when the last thing Jiah would have ever wanted was to see my son in distress," said Zarina.

"I have been connecting with Jiah in my prayers. We love that girl. She deserved a far more pleasant send-off than this ugly vendetta spree," she added.

Who All Are Under Scanner ?
